Terms of Purchase

Working Copy Pro is distributed under the GPL v2 (or later) license, like WordPress itself. Your purchase buys a license key that enables automatic updates, Pro feature activation, and support for the number of sites in your plan, for as long as your monthly or yearly subscription stays active.

Free trial

Every site gets one 14-day free trial of all Pro features, started from inside the plugin. No credit card is collected and no charge occurs unless you separately purchase a plan.

Renewals

Licenses are billed monthly or yearly, whichever you choose at checkout, and renew automatically at that cadence. If a license lapses — whether it expires or you cancel renewal — Pro features (publishing, version history, publication history, role-based permissions) stop working immediately on every site where it was active. The site automatically falls back to the free feature set (creating working copies, conflict detection, and the comparison UI). Renew to restore Pro, or uninstall the plugin if you no longer need it.

Privacy

License activation records your site URL, WordPress version, and plugin version, used solely to enforce seat counts and deliver updates. No content from your site is ever transmitted.
